Ichor Systems•Scotts Valley, CA
•$30 - $51•Onsite

About The Position

IMG Companies, a Division of Ichor Systems, is hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist for its Larkin manufacturing facility in Scotts Valley, California. The role manufactures high-precision aerospace and defense components and requires adherence to regulatory, quality, and customer-specific standards, including AS9100 and ITAR requirements. The position operates CNC equipment, including Mori Seiki Nakamura machines with Fanuc controls, and involves setting up and machining complex parts to tight tolerances. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with a shift of either 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 2:15 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. The machinist interprets engineering drawings and GD&T requirements, troubleshoots machining issues, edits programs when needed, and collaborates with engineering and other departments to improve processes. The role also requires accurate documentation, use of an ERP system (GSS preferred), and the machinist's own tools and basic inspection equipment. The work takes place in a manufacturing setting that includes a machine shop, warehouse, and office. It may involve noise, dust, temperature variations, and occasional exposure to physical hazards, dust, mist, and fumes. Personal protective equipment is required. Work is performed in compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001:2008, and NADCAP standards. Because the site is ITAR-compliant, only U.S. persons as defined in the posting are eligible for employment. For California candidates, the full-time, non-exempt position pays $29.90 to $50.82 per hour. Ichor offers medical, dental, and vision plans, paid time off, and paid holidays. A benefits summary is provided during the interview process.
