About The Position

The CNC Haas Specialist supports Durex Industries’ manufacturing operations on second shift. The role focuses on programming, setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and optimizing Haas CNC lathe machine tools using OSP controls. The specialist develops and improves turning and mill-turn processes, supports production, and helps improve process efficiency and manufacturing operations. The position also develops and maintains setup documentation, tooling lists, work instructions, standard operating procedures, process documentation, and machining standards. The specialist supports continuous improvement and may lead process improvement initiatives and mentor production personnel. The listed pay range is $28–$36, plus a 15% shift differential. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is noted in the job title.

Requirements

At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Haas CNC machine tools.
Extensive experience using Haas controls.
Ability to edit and execute G-code programs.
Ability to create setup sheets, tooling documentation, work instructions, and machining standards.
Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision measuring equipment.
Experience with CAD/CAM software.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience supporting high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Program, set up, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC lathe machine tools using OSP controls.
Support production on Haas lathe machines.
Develop and improve CNC machining processes for turning and mill-turn applications.
Generate and maintain setup documentation, tooling lists, work instructions, standard operating procedures, process documentation, and machining standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead process improvement initiatives and mentor production personnel.
