About The Position

Valley Craft Industries is hiring a second-shift CNC Machinist to facilitate production of company products and custom orders. The role operates CNC equipment, performs setups and adjustments, selects tooling, inspects parts against print specifications, and produces prototypes and medium production runs. Work involves CNC turning and vertical milling centers. The position is based in Lake City, Minnesota, with a Monday–Thursday schedule from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM and opportunities for overtime. Requirements

• Experience operating CNC equipment.
• Understanding of how to use basic inspection equipment.
• Knowledge of Haas and Fanuc controls.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to stand, sit, kneel, stoop, or walk for long periods.
• Ability to work in inclement conditions, including extreme hot and cold temperatures.
• Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC equipment and execute setups.
• Edit CNC programs, make offsets, and change tools on CNC equipment.
• Select and find the tooling required for jobs.
• Perform in-process inspection of parts to ensure they meet print specifications.
• Make prototypes and complete medium production runs.
• Work on CNC turning and vertical milling centers.
