About The Position

Balanced Body is seeking a driven, people-first leader to serve as the CNC Crew Lead for their Woodshop. This role involves managing Robot/CNC operations, optimizing machine performance, and leading a team. The position offers a chance to develop leadership skills and contribute to products that impact lives globally. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly goal setting, team coaching, mentoring, training, and performance management. Key duties include programming and operating CNC/Robot machines, production planning using Business Central, inventory management, efficiency improvements, participating in hiring, and enforcing safety protocols.

Requirements

5+ years operating and programming CNC/Robot machines
3+ years in a leadership role, ideally leading CNC teams
Strong communicator — written and verbal
Strategic, collaborative, and solutions-oriented
Adaptable when priorities shift
Physically able to sit, stand, reach, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs for a full shift
Safety-first mindset: follow procedures and actively participate in safety meetings and training
Self-motivated, positive, and consistent with great attendance

Responsibilities

Manage Robot/CNC operations, ensuring machines are running efficiently and programs are optimized.
Partner with supervisor to set and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
Coach, mentor, train, and develop team members, including performance reviews and corrective actions.
Program and operate CNC/Robot machines.
Drive production planning using Business Central (BC) and ensure accurate completion logging.
Track, audit, and manage department inventory.
Identify and implement efficiency improvements without compromising quality.
Participate in interviews and hiring decisions.
Enforce safe woodworking techniques and lead by example on the production floor.
