Warehouse Associate/Woodshop Attendant
About The Position
This role involves packing products, managing inventory (receiving, pulling/storing, and packing orders), and operating various tools and equipment. The position requires maintaining a clean and safe work area, with additional duties as assigned. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with prior warehouse experience. Strong communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be dependable, reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently. Proficiency in using computer technology for tasks such as creating labels, tracking inventory, and record-keeping, specifically with MS Word and Excel, is required. A valid driver's license is also necessary. The job involves regular physical activity, including lifting objects up to 50 lbs and occasionally more, and frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The ability to read and communicate in English is required, and punctuality is crucial, with a start time of 6 am.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior warehouse training or experience.
- Good communication, organizational, time management, mathematical skills
- Dependable and Reliable, self-motivated, able to work alone
- Ability to use computer technology to make labels, track inventory, and keep a record of storage.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to read and converse in English
- Be on time at 6 am.
Responsibilities
- Pack products neatly and securely.
- Receive, pull/store, and pack orders.
- Operate hand tools and battery drills.
- Operate forklifts and jacks.
- Maintain work area in a clean and hazard free condition.
- All other duties as assigned.
