About The Position
Moosehaven is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care in its Skilled Unit. The schedule is 16 hours per week, on the third shift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., every other Tuesday and Thursday and every other weekend. A shift differential is offered. The CNA will provide compassionate care and perform care-related procedures in accordance with resident care plans, physician orders, and direction from the charge nurse. The work is on Moosehaven’s 67-acre resort-style retirement community in Orange Park, Florida.
Requirements
- Valid CNA license.
- CPR/BLS certificate; online certification is not accepted.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, direct care to residents and perform care-related procedures.
- Carry out assignments according to resident care plans, physician orders, and direction from the charge nurse.
- Take residents’ vital signs and weigh residents.
- Assist in obtaining specimens from residents.
- Help residents with bathing and dressing.
- Perform other care-related responsibilities.
