About The Position
Moosehaven is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its Skilled Unit. The schedule is 16 hours per week, working every other Tuesday and Thursday and every other weekend on the third shift, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. A shift differential is offered. The CNA will provide compassionate, direct care to residents and perform care-related procedures. The role is based at Moosehaven, a resort-style retirement community in Orange Park, Florida, on the banks of the St. John’s River.
Requirements
- Valid CNA license.
- CPR/BLS certificate; online certification is not accepted.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, direct resident care and perform care-related procedures.
- Carry out assignments according to resident care plans, physician orders, and directions from the charge nurse.
- Take residents’ vital signs and weigh residents.
- Assist with obtaining resident specimens.
- Help residents with bathing and dressing.
- Perform other care-related responsibilities.
