About The Position
Senior Community Care of Colorado PACE is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Montrose, Colorado. The CNA provides and assists participants with activities of daily living, restorative and supportive care that help preserve their ability to live independently in the community. The role includes monitoring and reporting participants’ health status and helping maintain a safe environment. The CNA functions as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team and may travel to participants’ homes. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with occasional weekends and holidays. Pay is $19.50–$23.50 per hour, based on previous work experience. Travel to participant homes is required, and applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) license in the state of Colorado.
- At least one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and means of transportation.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Provide and assist participants with activities of daily living, restorative care, and supportive care.
- Help preserve participants’ ability to live independently in the community.
- Monitor and report participants’ health status and help provide a safe environment.
- Function as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Assist participants with independent activities of daily living, including grocery shopping, cleaning, changing bed linens, laundry, meal preparation, and other assigned routine household care.
- Report changes in participants’ conditions and needs to the Personal Care Supervisor or designee.
- Assist with participant activities in the Day Center, including meal service and cleanup.
- Travel to participant homes as required.
