About The Position

Misericordia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, person-centered care to older adult residents. The role supports the center’s standards of care and helps maintain a homelike environment while following resident care profiles and care plans. Candidates should value older adults and bring a caring attitude and strong customer service skills.

This is a full-time second-shift position, Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with no weekends.

Requirements

• Current Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Genuine concern for the needs of older adults.
• Strong customer service skills with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, compassionate care to residents.
• Maintain a person-centered, homelike environment while following resident care profiles and care plans.
• Carry out written and oral instructions while meeting residents’ total health needs.
• Assist residents during mealtimes.
• Encourage and motivate residents to participate in therapies and activities.
• Provide friendly, timely, and responsive customer service to all.
