CNA - PT - 2nd shift
About The Position
Moosehaven is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, direct resident care in its Skilled Unit. The position is every other weekend, 8 hours per week, on the second shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. A shift differential is offered. The CNA carries out care assignments according to resident care plans, physician orders, and direction from the charge nurse. Moosehaven is a resort-style retirement community on the St. John's River in Orange Park, Florida. The organization has cared for seniors for more than 100 years and hosts free, family-friendly public events through its Heart of the Community program.
Requirements
- Valid CNA license.
- CPR/BLS certificate; online certification is not accepted.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, direct resident care and perform care-related procedures.
- Carry out assignments according to resident care plans, physician orders, and direction from the charge nurse.
- Take residents' vital signs and weigh residents.
- Assist in obtaining specimens from residents.
- Help residents with bathing and dressing.
- Perform other care-related responsibilities.
