CNA - PT - 2nd shift
About The Position
Moosehaven is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care in its Skilled Unit. The schedule is every other weekend on the second shift, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., for 8 hours per week. A shift differential is offered. The CNA delivers compassionate care and performs care-related procedures according to resident care plans, physician orders, and directions from the charge nurse. Duties include taking vital signs, weighing residents, assisting with specimen collection, bathing, and dressing, along with other resident-care responsibilities. The position is at Moosehaven, a resort-style retirement community in Orange Park, Florida, situated on a 67-acre campus along the St. Johns River.
Requirements
- Valid CNA license.
- CPR/BLS certificate; online certification is not accepted.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, direct resident care and perform care-related procedures.
- Carry out assignments according to resident care plans, physician orders, and directions from the charge nurse.
- Take residents’ vital signs and weigh them.
- Assist with obtaining specimens from residents.
- Help residents with bathing and dressing.
- Perform other care-related responsibilities.
