About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Gwinnett is hiring an experienced, compassionate, and dependable caregiver to provide in-home care for a client in the Duluth, Georgia area. The role is described as part-time and is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The posting seeks someone with at least three years of caregiving experience who is committed to providing safe, respectful, and quality care. Compensation is $16.00–$17.00 per hour.

The caregiver will support clients with personal care and daily activities, companionship, meals, mobility, medication reminders, and light housekeeping related to care. The role also includes following care plans, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and monitoring and reporting changes in clients' conditions. Requirements

• At least 3 years of caregiving experience.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Compassionate and patient, with a genuine desire to help others.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and care plans.
• Must meet applicable background check and hiring requirements.
• Driver's license.
• Social Security card.
• Negative TB test results.
• CPR/First Aid certificate.
• Car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding when needed.
• Support safe mobility and transfers as appropriate.
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan and company policies.
• Perform light housekeeping related to client care.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' conditions.
• Follow care plans and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Treat every client with dignity, patience, and respect.
• Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation.
• Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
