About The Position

Insight Hospital and Medical Center- Chicago is seeking a friendly, responsible, and energetic Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional patient care. The CNA will ensure patients feel like a top priority, support the medical staff, and receive direction from nurses on patient care. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, a team player mentality, and a history of excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Demonstrates eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S.
• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
• BLS License
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others; works well within a team environment
• Demonstrates excellent skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care
• Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for professional advancement.
• Able to work compassionately with patients and coworkers to exhibit patient care second to none
• Exudes respect, drive and flexibility to impact the workplace in a positive manner.
• Great attention to detail and is able to perform to a high level of accuracy
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrates enthusiasm and drive
• Able to remain on task
• Must be prompt and reliable

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living
• Provides basic care to patients while maintaining a safe and clean environment
• Monitors and records vital signs as part of daily care
• Answers and coordinates patient questions
• Supports staff through clerical and receptionist duties as needed
• Builds a relaxing and comfortable environment for patients
