About The Position

The CNA provides personal care and in-home support to seniors in Mableton. Duties include assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, meals, medication reminders, transportation, errands, light housekeeping, and companionship. Requirements

• Clean criminal background check.
• Live Scan/fingerprinting.
• Reliable transportation with insurance.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States that complies with I-9 requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• TB test or chest X-ray.

Nice To Haves

• At least six months of formal training, home care experience, or schooling in the home care field is desired.
• CNA license desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide transportation and help with basic errands, such as pharmacy and grocery store trips.
• Prepare or provide meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist clients with mobility and toileting.
• Offer companionship and help seniors enjoy activities and interests, such as visiting senior centers or church, playing games, reading, watching movies, or taking walks.
• Maintain detailed records of services provided and clients’ current conditions through the online portal.
• Notify the Care Coordinator of major changes or incidents during a shift.
