About The Position

The CNA provides home care and companionship services to seniors in Mableton. The role is listed as 28 hours per week, with part-time and full-time positions available and day and night shifts. Requirements

Pass a criminal background check.
Complete Live Scan fingerprinting.
Have reliable transportation with insurance.
Provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States in compliance with I-9 requirements.
Have CPR and First Aid certification and a TB test or chest X-ray.
Formal training or at least six months of experience in home care, or attendance at a school for at least six months, is desired.
A CNA license is desired.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Provide transportation and run basic errands, such as trips to the pharmacy or grocery store.
Prepare or provide meals and perform light housekeeping.
Give medication reminders.
Assist clients with mobility.
Provide toiletry assistance.
Offer companionship and help seniors participate in activities they enjoy, such as attending senior centers or church, playing games, reading, watching movies, and taking walks.
Maintain a detailed online record of services provided and clients’ current conditions.
Notify the Care Coordinator of major changes or incidents during a shift.
