About The Position

The CNA provides in-home support and companionship to seniors in Alpharetta, Georgia. The role includes helping clients with personal care, meals, mobility, errands, and light housekeeping; encouraging clients to enjoy their interests; and documenting services and changes in clients’ conditions through an online portal. The position is listed as 16 hours per week. Flexible scheduling and part-time and full-time positions are available, with day and night shifts.

Requirements

Pass a criminal background check.
Complete Live Scan/fingerprinting.
Have reliable transportation with insurance.
Provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States in compliance with I-9 requirements.
CPR and First Aid certification and a TB test or chest X-ray are required.

Nice To Haves

At least six months of formal training, home care experience, or schooling in the field is desired.
CNA license is desired.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Provide transportation and basic errands, such as pharmacy and grocery store trips.
Prepare or provide meals and perform light housekeeping.
Provide medication reminders, mobility assistance, and toiletry assistance.
Offer companionship and support clients in activities such as visiting senior centers or church, playing games, reading, watching movies, and taking walks.
Maintain detailed records of services provided and clients’ current conditions through the online portal.
Notify the Care Coordinator of major changes or incidents during a shift.
