About The Position

The CNA provides in-home support and companionship to seniors in Alpharetta, Georgia. Duties include personal care, transportation and errands, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, mobility and toiletry assistance, and helping clients participate in recreational and social activities. The CNA documents services and clients’ current conditions through an online portal and reports major changes or incidents to the Care Coordinator. Requirements

• Clean criminal background check.
• Live Scan/fingerprinting.
• Reliable transportation with insurance.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. and documentation compliant with I-9 requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification, and a TB test or chest X-ray are required.

Nice To Haves

• At least six months of formal training, home care experience, or schooling in the home care field is desired.
• CNA license is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide transportation and basic errands, such as pharmacy and grocery store trips.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility.
• Provide toiletry assistance.
• Provide companionship and support seniors in activities such as visiting senior centers or church, playing games, reading, watching movies, and taking walks.
• Maintain detailed records of services provided and clients’ current conditions through the online portal.
• Notify the Care Coordinator of major changes or incidents during the shift.
