About The Position

Garden Spot Communities is offering a paid Certified Nurse Assistant training program with tuition provided and guaranteed full-time employment upon successful completion. Trainees are paid $18.75 per hour during training. After completing the program, participants transition to a full-time CNA position at Garden Spot Village. CNAs provide direct care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role focuses on meeting residents’ needs with dignity, respect, and safety while supporting household activities and residents’ overall well-being. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be willing to work 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. or 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. after training.
Must successfully complete the training program to transition to the full-time CNA position.
An understanding of and willingness to live out the organization’s mission and values, providing compassionate, person-centered care to all residents.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to residents and report their needs and concerns to a licensed nurse.
Help ensure residents’ safety.
Provide activities, programs, and visits suited to residents’ interests and abilities.
Assist with transporting residents to activities, events, and as needed.
Document information in the electronic medical record system.
