About The Position

Maple Farm is hiring for its Certified Nurse Assistant Training Program. During training, the role pays $18.75 per hour. After training, the employee will transition to a full-time CNA position and must be willing to work either 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. or 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. CNAs provide direct care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, helping ensure residents’ needs are met with dignity, respect, and safety. The role also supports household activities and residents’ overall well-being. Requirements

Must be 17 years or older.
Demonstrate an understanding of and willingness to live out Maple Farm’s mission and values by providing compassionate, person-centered care to all residents.
After training, be willing to work either 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. or 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of basic office equipment and electronic medical record systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to residents and report their needs and concerns to a licensed nurse.
Help ensure residents’ safety.
Provide activities, programs, and visits suited to residents’ interests and abilities.
Assist with transporting residents to activities, events, and as needed.
Document information in the electronic medical record system.
