About The Position

Garden Spot Village offers a paid Certified Nurse Assistant training program with free tuition and guaranteed full-time employment as a CNA after successful completion. During training, pay is $18.75 per hour. CNAs provide direct care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, ensuring residents’ needs are met with dignity, respect, and safety while supporting household activities and residents’ overall well-being. Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Be willing to work either 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. or 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. after successful completion of training.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of basic office equipment and electronic medical record systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to residents and report their needs and concerns to a licensed nurse.
Help ensure residents’ safety.
Provide activities, programs, and visits suited to residents’ interests and abilities.
Assist with transporting residents to activities, events, and as needed.
Document information in an electronic medical record system.
