Paid CNA Training for Nursing Students Get Paid to Train and Work in a Healthcare Facility The McGuire Group (WNY) – Taconic Health Care (Hudson Valley) Are you a nursing student looking to gain real healthcare experience before clinical rotations? The McGuire Group is offering a Paid CNA Training Program where nursing students earn pay during training and begin working in one of our healthcare facilities after certification. $16.85/hour while training. This is an excellent opportunity to build confidence, develop patient care skills, and gain valuable experience while continuing nursing school. CNA Training Program Paid CNA Training Program for new hires Classes Begin May 11 Interview and orientation must be completed prior to the class start date Upon certification, continue working as CNAs in McGuire Group facilities over summer, weekends and school break Work and Gain Experience While in Nursing School After completing CNA training, nursing students can: Work in a McGuire Group healthcare facility Gain hands-on patient care experience Work weekends or school breaks Earn income while building real healthcare skills Develop relationships with nurses and healthcare teams Many nursing students find that working as a CNA makes clinical rotations far more comfortable and familiar. Skills You Will Learn Patient care and bedside support Vital signs and patient observation Safe patient mobility and transfers Infection control and patient safety Communication with nurses and healthcare teams Time management in a clinical environment These are essential skills that prepare students for nursing clinicals and future nursing careers. Facility Locations Students will have the opportunity to work at McGuire Group facilities in Western New York, or Taconic Health Care Facilities in Hudson Valley N.Y . including: Garden Gate Health Care Facility Harris Hill Nursing Facility North Gate Health Care Facility Seneca Health Care Center Autumn View Health Care Facility Start Your Nursing Career Early Many of our RNs and nurse leaders began their careers as CNAs while in nursing school.
