About The Position

This Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program at Mason Health and Rehabilitation offers a great opportunity to learn and grow in an acute care facility. As a CNA student, participants will learn about different areas of care and how to best care for residents in the community. Upon successful completion of the CNA class, opportunities for free QMA classes are offered monthly. Requirements

• Must Be 16 years old or older
• Successfully pass the English, Reading and Math Competency Test
• Must Pass Criminal Background and Drug Screen
• A passion for caring for people
• Personal integrity and the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and other personnel
• The ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information and stay within Corporate Compliance and HIPAA
• Knowledge on the use of personal computers, Word and Excel, and working with office machines such as fax and copying machines

Responsibilities

• Participate in 120 hour state approved training
• Gain clinical patient experience
• Attend on-site training
