About The Position

This Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program at Mason Health and Rehabilitation offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow in an acute care facility. As a CNA student, you will gain knowledge about various areas of care and how to best serve the community's residents. Upon successful completion of the class, there are opportunities for free QMA classes monthly, and the facility aims to help place candidates in full-time or part-time positions. Requirements

Must be 16 years old or older.
Successfully pass the English, Reading, and Math Competency Test.
Must pass Criminal Background and Drug Screen.
A passion for caring for people.
Personal integrity and the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and other personnel.
Ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information and stay within Corporate Compliance and HIPAA.
Knowledge on the use of personal computers, Word and Excel, and working with office machines such as fax and copying machines.

Nice To Haves

Experience in an acute care facility.
Interest in long-term care.
Willingness to pursue QMA certification.

Responsibilities

Participate in classroom instruction.
Gain clinical patient experience.
Complete a 120-hour state-approved training program.
Work towards placement in full-time or part-time positions after successful completion of the program.
