About The Position

This position is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation. The program offers an opportunity to learn and grow in an acute care facility, making a difference in the lives of residents. CNA students will learn about different areas of care and how to best serve the community. Upon successful completion of the class, there are opportunities for free Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) classes. Requirements

  • Must be 16 years old or older.
  • Successfully pass the English, Reading, and Math Competency Test.
  • Must pass Criminal Background and Drug Screen.
  • A passion for caring for people.
  • Personal integrity and the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and other personnel.
  • Ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information and stay within Corporate Compliance and HIPAA.
  • Knowledge on the use of personal computers, Word and Excel, and working with office machines such as fax and copying machines.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in classroom instruction and clinical experience as part of the CNA training program.
  • Upon completion of the program, the facility will assist candidates in finding full-time or part-time positions.
  • Learn about different areas of care offered by the facility.
  • Provide care for residents in the community.
