About The Position

This is a training class for individuals interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA). Upon successful completion of the training, there are opportunities for 2nd or 3rd shift employment. The class focuses on developing skills in caregiving, providing healing, brightening lives, and offering empathetic care to residents and patients. It is designed for individuals with a can-do attitude, a passion for living life to the fullest, and a desire to grow and improve their skills in the healthcare field.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Apply to this requisition.
  • Complete an interview with our leadership team.
  • Pay the discounted class fee (Course fees are not refundable).

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a two-week training class to complete the 75-hour CNA class.
  • Engage in at least 59 hours in the classroom.
  • Complete at least 16 hours of supervised resident care in a long-term care facility.
  • Upon completion, receive an official ODH Certificate of Completion.
  • Be eligible to register for the state nurse aide test.
  • Upon passing the test, have your name added to the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry and officially become an STNA.
