About The Position

The Amberleigh, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The Amberleigh is a premier retirement community in Williamsville, NY, providing quality care to residents in an INDEPENDENT LIVING, ASSISTED LIVING, MEMORY CARE community. This role involves utilizing cutting-edge technology such as SafelyYou (AI video for fall detection), Advanced EHR Technologies (automated care assessments), Sage (improving call light response time), and Microsoft Power BI (for data needs) to enhance resident lives and make the job easier and more effective. The company also offers support for educational and learning opportunities.

Requirements

High school graduate or GED preferred
Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in STATE

Responsibilities

Performs duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care. Duties include assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, and escorts and transfers
Assists residents with nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing proper fluid requirements, and offering substitutions when appropriate
Reminding residents to take medication and opening containers and packages for residents
Recognizes changes in the residents' behavior and conditions and reports those changes to the Assisted Living Director
