About The Position

The Carriages of Bloomington is seeking a dedicated CNA/RCA to work with its nursing team and provide compassionate, person-centered care to older adult residents. The role is team-oriented and focuses on supporting residents’ care, comfort, safety, and independence. The opening is for a third-shift schedule of either 10 p.m.–6 a.m. or 6 p.m.–6 a.m.

Requirements

• A strong desire to help others and compassion for older adults.
• High school diploma.
• At least one year of experience.
• A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, medication reminders, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Assist with setting up, serving, and cleaning up meals.
• Provide services as indicated on residents’ service plans.
• Assist residents with moving in and out, as assigned.
• Assist with laundry service.
• Follow infection control procedures.
• Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors, including providing housekeeping services for residents.
