About The Position

Right at Home is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join their team as non-medical homecare aides. The mission is to hire the RIGHT people, for the RIGHT services, with the RIGHT approach, focusing on Professionalism, Confidence, Consistency, Integrity, Compassion and Safety. Homecare aides provide non-medical support to senior clients, helping them maintain independence in their homes. This role offers valuable experience in the healthcare field, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to work while pursuing education. The agency services Sacramento, West, North and South Sacramento, Natomas, Woodland, and Davis.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
Must possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check.
HCA Registration (assistance provided at offer of employment).
TB Skin test (completed TB test not older than 90 days accepted).
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Experience with Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board is preferred.
Must have your own vehicle to transport clients.

Responsibilities

Provide for the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
Provide non-medical home care including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, transportation to doctor's appointments, errands, and light housekeeping.
Assist senior clients in remaining as independent as possible in their homes.
Utilize skills in the healthcare field.
Transport clients using your own vehicle.
