About The Position

Provides and documents care to patients under the direction of the RN, to include a safe, comfortable, and confidential environment. Participates as a team member to ensure appropriate resources are available to all internal/external customers. Must be able to speak and read English at a level sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position. Requires knowledge of standard office equipment (e.g., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer skills, including proficient use of keyboarding, mouse, drop-down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, and copying. Follows Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws, and standards, and carries out the mission, vision, and quality commitment of Palomar Health.

Requirements

• As required by certification and/or licensure
• 0 - 6 months related experience
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• American Heart Association recognized BLS - Healthcare Provider
• Proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or within the 1st two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.
