About The Position
This position involves providing and documenting patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), ensuring a safe, comfortable, and confidential environment. The role requires participation as a team member to ensure appropriate resources for all internal and external customers. Candidates must be able to speak and read English proficiently to perform essential functions. The job also requires knowledge of standard office equipment (calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer skills, including proficiency in MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, internet, and e-mail. Proficient use of keyboarding, mouse, and other Windows computer functions is required upon employment or within the first two weeks. The individual will perform other assigned duties, adhere to Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws, and standards, and uphold the mission, vision, and quality commitment of Palomar Health.
Requirements
- Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position
- Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, internet, e-mail)
- Windows computer skills including proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or within the 1st two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job
- Minimum Education: As required by certification and/or licensure
- Minimum Experience: 0 - 6 months related
- Required Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Required Certification: American Heart Association recognized BLS - Healthcare Provider

- Preferred Experience: 1 year related
