About The Position
AmeriCare Plus is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Nursing Assistants (NA), and Personal Care Aides (PCA) to provide compassionate, high-quality in-home personal care to clients in their own homes. Cases are available in Farnham, Colonial Beach, Lancaster, Kilmarnock, Heathsville, Warsaw, Montross, St. Stephen's Church, and King & Queen. PCA online training is provided for interested applicants, and a PCA class is offered for uncertified candidates. Ongoing training and personal protective equipment (PPE) are provided. Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online training is provided for those interested in PCA work.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver's license.
- Social Security card and two professional references.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Support client mobility and transfers, such as transfers from bed to wheelchair.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior.
