About The Position
AmeriCare Plus is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Nursing Assistants (NA), and Personal Care Aides (PCA) to provide high-quality, compassionate in-home personal care to clients in their homes. The role offers full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules. PCA training is provided for interested applicants who are not certified. Caregivers support clients with daily personal care, mobility, meals, medication reminders, companionship, and light housekeeping. They also monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior. Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online training is provided for those interested in PCA work.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver’s license.
- Social Security card.
- Two professional references.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable disposition.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Support client mobility and transfers, such as moving from a bed to a wheelchair.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior.
