About The Position
AmeriCare Plus is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Nursing Assistants (NA), and Personal Care Aides (PCA) to provide compassionate in-home personal care to clients in their own homes. The role supports clients with daily activities, companionship, and monitoring their health or behavior. PCA training is offered for interested applicants who are not certified. The posting offers full-time, part-time, and PRN scheduling, with flexible availability that may include weekdays, weekends, and overnights. Weekly pay is offered for up to 40 hours per week. Employees working full-time are eligible for benefits.
Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online training is provided for those interested in PCA.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver’s license.
- Social Security card and two professional references.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Support client mobility and transfers, such as transfers from bed to wheelchair.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior.
