About The Position
AmeriCare Plus is hiring a CNA, NA, or PCA to provide compassionate in-home personal care to a female client in the Louisa/Gordonsville area. The listed client schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The posting also advertises full-time, part-time, and PRN scheduling, with flexible availability that may include weekdays, weekends, and overnights. Caregivers support clients in the comfort of their own homes with personal care, mobility, meals, medication reminders, companionship, and light housekeeping. The position includes weekly pay, and employees working full-time may be eligible for benefits. PCA training is offered for interested uncertified applicants, along with ongoing training.
Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online training is provided for those interested in PCA work.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver’s license.
- Social Security card.
- Two professional references.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable disposition.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Support client mobility and transfers, such as moving from a bed to a wheelchair.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior.
