About The Position
AmeriCare Plus is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Nursing Assistants (NA), and Personal Care Aides (PCA) to provide compassionate in-home personal care to clients in their own homes. The position offers full-time, part-time, or PRN scheduling, with flexible availability that may include weekdays, weekends, and overnights. Weekly pay is provided for up to 40 hours per week. PCA training is offered for interested applicants who are not certified.
Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online training is provided for those interested in PCA.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver's license.
- Social Security card and two professional references.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Support client mobility and transfers, such as transfers from a bed to a wheelchair.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior.
