CNA/Medication Aide
About The Position
A PRN Medication Aide/CNA in a memory care facility provides compassionate, on-call support to residents with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming), safely administering medications per physician orders, monitoring residents’ health and behavior, and documenting care. The role requires strong communication, patience, and the ability to respond calmly to changing needs while promoting a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. Flexible availability is essential, as shifts are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
