About The Position

St. Joseph of the Pines is hiring a full-time CNA/Med Tech at The Coventry and Pine Meadow, its assisted living facilities in Southern Pines, North Carolina. The role supports older adult residents with daily living activities, mobility, restorative care, safety, and privacy. Candidates must hold both CNA and Med Tech licensure; one year of experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living functions, including dental care, feeding, bathing, dressing and undressing, nail care, hair care, and shaving according to their expressed preferences.
• Lift, turn, move, position, and transport residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, and lifts.
• Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures, including daily range-of-motion exercises; promptly record data and respond to resident calls.
• Follow established safety precautions, including proper use and disposal of personal protective equipment.
• Use safety equipment and supplies, such as gait belts and mechanical lifts, when moving residents in accordance with their plans of care.
• Promptly report changes in residents' conditions to the supervisor or designee.
• Maintain resident care confidentiality and provide nursing care with privacy.
• Follow the established End of Life Procedure.
• Attend scheduled training, in-service training, mandatory annual in-service training, and educational classes as required or needed.
• Report occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous chemicals in accordance with community policies and procedures.
