About The Position

Westminster Woods on Julington Creek is hiring a CNA/Med Tech to provide assigned residents in Memory Support with routine daily nursing care in accordance with nursing care procedures and as directed by the Supervisor. This is a part-time, weekends-only position scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The community is located in a waterfront setting near Jacksonville. Requirements

• Certified nurse’s aide credential in accordance with Florida law.
• Medical Technician Certified.
• CPR certified.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with older adults in a healthcare setting is desirable, preferably for at least six months.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transfers, ambulation, and toileting.
• Make beds, remove trash from rooms, serve meals, and maintain room hygiene.
• Take vital signs and report observations or changes in residents’ conditions to the nurse.
• Follow infection prevention and control measures in accordance with federal, state, and facility requirements.
• Complete CNA ECS flow-sheet documentation accurately, completely, and on time.
• Make routine and frequent rounds and ensure safety precautions and equipment are in place and working.
• Help prevent skin problems and breakdown by providing timely incontinence care and frequently repositioning residents who need assistance.
• Assist the Activities Department with resident activities.
