About The Position

SUNRIDGE ASSISTED LIVING OF ROY is hiring compassionate, energetic caregivers for night shifts, with part-time positions available. Med Tech experience is preferred but not required. Caregivers support senior residents with activities of daily living, document and report changes or concerns in residents’ conditions, and perform other duties assigned by the Administrator or Resident Care Coordinator.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Able to work independently and take initiative.
• Able to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
• Able to work under pressure and handle critical situations calmly.
• Good communication skills with residents, staff, family members, and professionals, including communicating sensitive information with empathy.
• A love for the elderly and a positive, compassionate attitude.
• A background check is required upon hire.
• Food handlers permit, CPR/First Aid certification, and a TB test are required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a Med Tech is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior residents with all activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Document and notify the RCC and nurse of changes or concerns in residents’ conditions.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Administrator or Resident Care Coordinator.
