About The Position

Superior Home Care & Hospice is seeking a kind, dependable, and responsible male aide with CNA certification. The agency is locally owned and family run, and emphasizes high-quality care, employee support, flexibility, and a compassionate team environment. The role serves male patients, respecting their privacy and personal-care preferences. Services may include taking vital signs; providing bathing and personal hygiene; preparing and assisting with meals; helping patients with ambulation and transfers; performing household services that facilitate self-care at home; and supervising patients who can self-administer medication. This is a part-time position paying $19.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience. Saturday availability is preferred.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
Completion of a Certified Nurses Aide training course and current state certification.
Current driver’s license, own transportation, and automobile insurance.
Computer literacy or willingness to learn, as client files are electronic.
Ability to communicate effectively and manage time effectively.
Male aide requested due to male patients’ privacy and personal-care preferences.

Nice To Haves

Saturday availability is preferred.

Responsibilities

Take patients’ vital signs.
Provide bathing and personal hygiene, including shaving, shampooing, skin care, hair care, oral care, and nail care.
Prepare and assist with meals as needed.
Assist patients with ambulation and transfers.
Perform household services that facilitate clients’ self-care at home.
Supervise patients who are able to self-administer medication.
