About The Position

Superior Home Care & Hospice is hiring a kind, dependable, responsible male aide with CNA certification to provide care to male patients, respecting their privacy and personal care preferences. The locally owned, family-run business was established in 1996 and describes its workplace as a supportive, compassionate team environment. Services may include taking vital signs; providing bathing and personal hygiene, including shaving, shampooing, skin care, hair care, oral care, and nail care; preparing and assisting with meals; helping with ambulation and transfers; performing household services that facilitate clients’ self-care at home; and supervising patients who can self-administer medication. This is a part-time position paying $19.00–$21.00 per hour, with pay depending on experience. Saturday availability is preferred.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have completed a Certified Nurses Aide training course and received state certification.
Must have a current driver’s license, provide own transportation, and have automobile insurance.
Must be computer literate or willing to learn, as client files are electronic.
Must be able to communicate effectively and manage time effectively.
The employer is specifically seeking a male aide due to male patients’ privacy and personal care preferences.
