CNA/Home Health Aide Saturdays only
About The Position
Superior Home Care & Hospice is a locally owned, family-run business established in 1996. It is seeking kind, dependable, and responsible aides, both male and female, for a part-time position working Saturdays only. Services may include taking vital signs; providing bathing and personal hygiene assistance; preparing and assisting with meals; assisting with ambulation and transfers; performing household services that facilitate client self-care at home; and supervising patients who can self-administer medication. Pay is $19.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must complete a Certified Nurses Aide training course and receive state certification within four months of being hired.
- Must have a current driver’s license, provide own transportation, and have automobile insurance.
- Must be computer literate or willing to learn, as client files are electronic.
- Must communicate effectively and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities
- Take patients’ vital signs.
- Assist with bathing and personal hygiene, including shaving, shampooing, skin care, hair care, oral care, and nail care.
- Prepare and assist with meals as needed.
- Assist with ambulation and transferring.
- Perform household services that facilitate the client’s self-care at home.
- Supervise patients who are able to self-administer medication.
