Requirements

  • Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification required.
  • RQI Provider (BLS) required within 7 days of hire/transfer or before providing independent patient care, whichever comes first.
  • Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to demonstrate integrity, kindness, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn additional systems as needed.
  • Current Driver’s License required.
  • Driving record for the previous 36 months must meet Logan Health requirements and not include major driving offenses.
  • Personal vehicles used for Logan Health business must maintain state-required minimum liability insurance coverage.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous healthcare experience preferred.
  • Home Health Aide certification preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic patient care under the direction of assigned leadership.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, personal care, comfort, and mobility.
  • Obtain and document vital signs and communicate any concerns or changes in condition to the appropriate team member.
  • Accurately document care provided.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
  • Assist with supplies, equipment, and day-to-day department needs.
  • Support patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to prioritize patient needs and provide high-quality care.
  • Support compliance with Medicare and other applicable regulatory requirements.
