About The Position

Always Best Care, a top-rated and nationally accredited home care agency in South Florida, is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide one-on-one, in-home care to local Veterans and seniors. The goal is to help clients remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their homes. The agency emphasizes supporting its caregivers, believing that supported caregivers provide the best care.

Requirements

Caring, reliable, and passionate about helping others.
English fluency (spoken & written).
Must pass a Level 2 Background Check and drug screening.
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance (with bodily injury coverage).
Recent TB test and physical (within 1 year).
Current CPR certification (within 2 years).
Up-to-date on all required CEUs.
Prior experience caring for seniors.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, etc.
Monitor health, including medication reminders, vital signs, and glucose & blood pressure checks.
Offer companionship, emotional support, and safety supervision.
Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, errands, and light housekeeping.
Support mobility, including transfers, walking assistance, and repositioning.
Ensure home safety by keeping the environment clean and cozy.
