Requirements
- Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training program and compliance with applicable certification requirements.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through educational programs, in-service training, and continuing learning opportunities.
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative healthcare team while maintaining a resident-centered approach to care.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-focused personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and daily living activities.
- Obtain and document vital signs as directed.
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using proper techniques and equipment.
- Support residents during meals, snacks, and nutritional supplement times while promoting a positive dining experience.
- Accurately document resident care, observations, and behavioral changes according to facility policies.
- Properly handle, transport, and dispose of linens, supplies, and other materials while maintaining infection control standards.
- Foster meaningful interactions that promote resident dignity, comfort, and emotional well-being.
