About The Position

The PRN CNA/CMA provides high-quality care and support to residents of a skilled nursing facility, helping ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being. The role is on an as-needed basis and offers flexible scheduling. The position operates in a clinical healthcare environment in Midwest City, Oklahoma.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification in Oklahoma is required.
• Ability to lift and move residents and perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help residents transfer, reposition, and ambulate safely.
• Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Document care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and other pertinent information in electronic health records.
• Promptly report changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to nursing staff or a supervisor.
• Assist with feeding and meal preparation, and provide companionship to support residents’ quality of life.
• Follow infection-control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide cohesive care.
