About The Position
Brightview Senior Living is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide personal care, support, and companionship to memory care residents. The role involves assisting residents with activities of daily living, noticing changes in their daily condition or care needs, and working with the Nurse to update each resident’s care plan. The caregiver also encourages residents to participate in community programs and activities.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and enjoyment of working with people.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Current state-required certification as a CNA, HHA, or CHHA; Medication Aide Certified is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, engaging personal care, support, and companionship.
- Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Notice changes in residents’ daily condition and personal care needs and work with the Nurse to update their Resident Care Plan.
- Encourage residents to participate in community programs and activities.
