About The Position
Wexford House is seeking compassionate, reliable Certified Nursing Assistants to join its care team in Kingsport, Tennessee. CNAs are an essential part of residents’ care, providing supportive services and assisting residents with activities of daily living according to their care plans. The role also includes patient-care tasks and dining-service coordination. The position is full-time, day shift.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification for the state of Tennessee.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide supportive services and perform duties assigned by clinical leadership.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living in accordance with care plans.
- Assist with patient-care tasks and coordinate dining services, including meal-tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation of meal intake.
- Report changes in a resident’s condition to the nurse supervisor and keep the supervisor informed of factors that interfere with performing assigned work.
- Maintain confidentiality of protected health information in verbal, written, and electronic communications.
