About The Position
The CNA performs basic nursing care procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. The role follows treatment plans designed to meet each resident’s or patient’s age, needs, and abilities. Masonicare Health Center is a 260-bed skilled nursing facility in Wallingford, Connecticut. The posting describes an evening-shift position working 24 hours per week, every other weekend.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut certification as a nurse’s aide (C.N.A.).
- CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Follow treatment plans designed for each resident’s or patient’s age, needs, and abilities.
- Assist with meals and nourishment.
- Transfer residents or patients using proper body mechanics and appropriate assistive devices.
- Assist with ambulation, bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming.
- Perform basic nursing care procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.
