CNA Certified Nursing Assistant (EVENING SHIFT)
About The Position
The CNA performs basic nursing care procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. The role follows treatment plans designed to meet each resident’s or patient’s age, needs, and abilities. Care includes assisting with meals and nourishment, transfers using proper body mechanics and appropriate assistive devices, ambulation, bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming. The position is at Masonicare Health Center, a 260-bed skilled nursing facility in Wallingford, Connecticut. It is an evening-shift role scheduled for 24 hours per week, every other weekend.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut certification as a nurse’s aide (C.N.A.).
- CPR certification.
Responsibilities
